Over the last few days we experienced two winter storms leaving us with about 8 or 9 inches of fresh snow on the ground. Last night the sky was clear and the reflecting lunar light was bright like an early morning dawn.
I couldn't help but wish that I was out running the local trails under the stars and radiant moon. It's not often when the moon is full, the skies are clear and there's snow on the ground to light the way.
If I'm feel inspired tonight, I'll see if the trail head is clear. Otherwise I'll see if the skies stay clear through the weekend to give it a shot.
In the meantime, here's a nice bit of nighttime trail porn.
